Careers

Your Next Mission
Starts Here.

We build heating, cooling, lighting, plumbing, and piping that keeps New England running. We hire people who give a damn — and we pay them like it. Apprentice to master to leader to owner. The path is real, and we fund it.

Why Build A Career Here

This is real work. With real wages. And a real future.

Master tradespeople in New England earn six-figure incomes. Foremen and project managers earn more. General managers and partners earn substantially more. We're not selling a job — we're building a career.

Real Career Ladder

Apprentice → journeyman → master → foreman → PM → GM → ownership track. The next rung is always defined, and we pay you to climb it.

We Pay For Your License

OSHA 10/30. JATC apprenticeship fees. Journeyman exam fees. Master exam prep. We fund every credential we ask you to earn.

Real Benefits

Medical, dental, 401(k) with match, paid time off, company vehicles for field roles, and an EAP with veteran-specialized counselors.

Stay Local

Six-state region. Local jobs, local crews, local customers. You don't need to relocate to grow. You can grow where you live.

Standards That Matter

Military-grade safety. Clear protocols. No "we've always done it that way." You'll work next to people who know what they're doing.

A Path To Ownership

Our exit strategy includes a management buyout where employees who rose to leadership buy out founding investors. The truck could be yours someday.

For Veterans

If you served, we'd be honored to have you.

Every Ironclad company commits to hiring veterans first. Not because it makes us look good. Because we believe what veterans bring to a job site — discipline, leadership, mission focus, accountability, brotherhood — makes us better at our work.

Why The Trades Are Built For Veterans

  • Mission & purpose — daily work that matters and that you can point to
  • Team & brotherhood — the crew IS the unit
  • Hierarchy & standards — familiar command structure, clear competency ladder
  • Physical engagement — body and mind both occupied, like you remember
  • Economic dignity — wages that honor service
  • Tangible accomplishment — you built something real

"The structure of a trade, the brotherhood of a crew, the daily accomplishment of building something real — these are precisely the conditions in which veterans rebuild their sense of purpose, identity, and belonging."

Every veteran who joins ITG receives

  • A trade to master and a career to build
  • A team to belong to and lead
  • Standards to meet and exceed
  • Wages that respect their service and provide for their families
  • A community that understands them
  • A path to leadership, ownership, and legacy

"We do not offer charity. We offer opportunity. We do not ask for sacrifice. We offer mission."

The Veteran Pathway

Six steps. Every one paid for by us.

Your MOS counts. Your service counts. Your discipline counts. The clock starts at hire.

1

Skills Assessment

Day-one evaluation. Many military MOSs earn apprenticeship credit on entry — you don't start at zero, you start where your service put you.

2

OSHA 10/30 Certification

Within 30 days of hire. Fully ITG-funded. You hit the field credentialed and safe.

3

Apprenticeship Enrollment

JATC or state-registered program. We pay your fees. Helmets to Hardhats partnership opens union pathways.

4

Journeyman License

Study materials, prep cohorts, and exam fees — all on us. You take the test.

5

Master License

For leadership-track veterans. The credential that lets you run your own crews, jobs, and eventually your own company.

6

Leadership Track

3+ years tenure opens the door to foreman, project manager, GM — and the management-buyout ownership path.

Open Roles

Hiring across every trade, every level.
